SATTVA SCHOOL: ADVANCED STUDIES
300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Sattva School Advanced Studies (300-hour Yoga Teacher Training)

Building on our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Sattva School is excited to announce Advanced Studies – our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training – beginning in June 2018! This program, designed for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners, combines advanced workshops, mentorship, and a teacher community (sangha) to help you take your yoga practice and instruction to the next level.

Sattva School’s Advanced Studies program offers rolling admission and a pay-as-you-go pricing model. After paying an initial registration fee ($300), students will immediately have access to the mentorship and teacher community aspects of the program, as well as discounts on workshops and weekend intensives that count toward the 300-hour course requirement. We anticipate that the full program will take most students approximately 2-3 years total to complete.

Program

Advanced Workshops

Beginning in June 2018, Sattva School will offer a series of advanced workshops on topics including anatomy and yoga philosophy. We will also begin to offer quarterly weekend intensives to deepen your understanding around specific topics. An initial workshop schedule (through the end of 2018) is included below. Advanced Studies students receive priority registration and discounted pricing ($5 off workshops, $25 off weekend intensives)!

Mentorship

After registration, Advanced Studies students will meet with Sattva School co-founders and lead teachers Kelly Watson, RYT-500, ERYT-200, and Meghan Leigh, LMT, RYT-500, to share goals and develop a personalized study plan. Each student will be paired with a lead teacher, who will continue to meet 1:1with the student each quarter to check-in, discuss progress, and offer feedback and advice.

Teacher community (sangha)

Finally, Advanced Studies students will become part of a teacher community (sangha), an opportunity to build relationships with fellow teachers as we learn and grow together. Sattva School will host monthly private classes for the sangha led by a rotating teacher, followed by feedback and discussion. There will also be informal opportunities to connect via yoga service opportunities, book clubs, etc.
